Draft 1:
This design is the first I've done for a youth group within my church district. Their name is ALIVE - All Living In Victory Eternally. And they really like this SouledOut thing done in tag. So it was requested of me to design their next t-shirt print.
Violin.
ANY HELPFUL COMMENTS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!
Not just.. "looks good" or "nice" etc.
I like this one best. Without the dove we can associate the wings with either angels or the dove do to the whitespace where the dove would have been keeps the similar shape. I think this would look nice as a gradient piece if that will help out the budget the ministry has. I would go with brown, red and flesh color if I had to pick 3. (I think that white and black are a given) What I like about this piece is that you touch on the trinity and various aspects of christianity. The fact that the souled out is done in the bubble graphite style shows us that this group is an outreach ministry for those who may feel like they are misunderstood or left out, you know?
These are really awesome! I like this one slightly better than the one with the dove. Just seems a little crowded with the bird in there. Did they make this into a t-shirt yet? If they can't afford all the colours, I think it would still look awesome if you made all the text red. Also, the "ALIVE" text could due to be a little bolder if that's possible. In any case, you've got some awesome design skills!

thanks a bunch Murf, they haven't made the t-shirts yet - because they seem to have forgotten about it or somethin.. But they like the one with the bird more for some reason. They also never decided on a color, but thought that it should just be one instead this rainbow effect.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
