That was about a piece he did but wouldn't defend when I told him it was ugly trying to get a reaction out of him, called Love is Hate. It's really not that ugly of a piece, just not my style at all. And I disagreed with the idea behind, as it seems you do also.

You can love and hate at the same time, or love something so much you hate it (obsessive compulsion).. all kinds of things, but love is always the opposite of hate.

Imagine if Love was hate, how confusing being a christian really would be though! (Not a point I desired to bring up with D-Man, because it didn't seem important to..)

Love and hate are related, but not the same. more like oppsite sides of the same coin. love turns to hate, hate turns to love. its hard to discribe thier relation with words, but its hard to really discribe love or its antithesis hate with any words at all. either way, they are strong words that should not be used so casually in todays modern life.

love leads to great pleasure, hate to great suffering, but they are walking down the same path hand in hand. that's a metaphore for how in life the same action may brign about radically differant results, or other interacting emotions can have totally random effects on two people. thus love ad life are very unpredictable.
